You’ll need to fill out some paperwork that provides us with all the necessary information about your current health as well as preexisting conditions that need to be taken into account when planning future treatments. Of course, you can personally tell Dr. Howard about any particular concerns that are currently on your mind. We’ll then perform a thorough examination, checkup, and cleaning before scheduling additional appointments as needed to address specific dental concerns.
To save you time during your visit, we highly recommend having your new patient forms completed ahead of time. You can download the forms with the link below and print them out at home so that you can fill them out whenever you have the time. Then you can simply hand them directly to our front desk patient coordinators when you arrive, allowing us to get started on processing all of your information right away.
Our Rancho Bernardo dental office accepts most dental insurance plans; we are in-network with several companies, but we’re also happy to help file claims on your behalf for an out-of-network policy. We’ll ask for you to pay your co-pay or deductible up front. We’ll always do everything we can ensure that you get the most out of your benefits. Remember, though, that if your insurance plan is paid for by your employer, it does not affect your responsibility to pay the remaining fees if the company doesn’t pay what we expect them to.
